The first thing that you should do to play game without crashes and mighty lags is to fix registry errors. There are various kinds of registry cleaner software programs available on the web.
Things you need before fixing the crash
- Downloading and installing important updates is very important. Why? Most games do not work if you have an obsolete OS.
- Remember: Update your drivers (audio/video, storage controller, chipset drivers) and stay up to date.
- You can download all remaining drivers from your motherboard manufacturer’s website. Just make sure that you punch in the correct model name.
- Update your DirectX files given in Microsoft’s website. Here’s a link to download.
- Update Microsoft .NET Framework 4 as well.

Alternate Method
But we’ve got an alternative for you. Beware: More crashes occur because of cranking up video settings that your system cannot handle.
Try a trial-and-error method by switching each and every setting to see which one your system can handle. Furthermore, enable the Borderless option so that you can be ensured that your game does not crash.
If these crashing issues persist, then you’ll have to wait for Bethesda to roll out more patches in the future like it did with Skyrim. As far this issue is concerned, we’re confident that your crashing issues have been resolved, finally!

Hey all,
So with Fallout 4 out, I figured maybe it was a good time to play New Vegas. I thoroughly enjoyed Fallout 3, just never got around to playing Fallout New Vegas.
1.) I have a problem though. The game launcher will launch the game just fine at any resolution, except 3840x2160. When I try to launch it at this resolution, th egame just crashes with a gamebryo error.
I have done some googling, but can't find any information regarding how to address this. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to play the game at lower than my native resolution.
2.) Also, I understand there are some pretty good graphics mods for this game. Does anyone have any suggestions on good mods to install to make it nice and pretty on modern hardware?
Much obliged!
